One of the methods used at pageants to cover the time it takes for the contestants to get changed is to have guest artistes perform for the audience, lest they get restive and surly.  Catwalk ensured a happy viewership using this stratagem.  The Pcitures that follow capture the excitement of the entertainment.

The event began with a spirited dance number

Our MC for the evening, Tita Aida, was up next, to welcome us and begin the proceeedings

Some time later, during the first pause to reclothe, Tita introduced the Rice Rockettes

The next scheduled interruption featured a transman (!) singer

And then the Rice Rockettes did a reprise
