Oh by now, having inspected the title of this little page, moi is sure that you are thinking that moi is experiencing a flashback to an earlier time, when winning the Quest competition got you a cover spread on Girl Talk magazine.  But consider, however, the lack of the definite article above (There is no "the" there, as Gertrude Stein might have said).  And note also, moi's attire at the reception area. Yes indeed, due to inclement weather, all the attendees at the Quest pageant were seeking shelter from the rain, hence the previously ambiguous but now perfectly clear title of the page.

Some girls did not bother dressing, due to helping with preparations backstage like Kimmy (left), arrived from San Fran for this one night only.   Others, like FOUR (!) Empresses, gave comfort priority over style
