Having travelled all the way to San Antonio for the meeting of the Imperial Parliament (of which no more can be said, since it involves gummint bidness), moi felt that it would be churlish not to attend the Coronation of the new monarchs of San Antonio's Court.  Moi was not alone in coming to this conclusion, and as a consequence, the evening, though very enjoyable, in some ways resembled the 405 at rush hour.  Suffice to say that 42 courts were represented at the coronation, making for a long evening. Since Tintin and moi had to return home early on the morrow, moi limited moi's appearance to that necessary to show the wig.

The evening started at 5:30 pm; hence moi was able to juxtapose moi's self with the recreating other guesties, out by the pool.

Moi feels that direct sunlight tends to bring out moi's blemishes so moi tends to avoid it, as moi does with "stake" tartare, Coors Light (think about it) and garlic chicken.  Moi would say moi was a vampire, did moi not have a fondness for mirrors.

Inside, under artificial light, it was time for some down home country POSIN'.  Moi was immediately charmed by the blonde above, who referred to moi as "sugah".  Awww!

And tell moi what self respecting Tgirl would NOT want to POSE with a man in a kilt, or a man with a crown and medals?

But moi mentioned congestion, did moi not?  Moi did.

Crowds at the food line, the no-host bar and the entrance to the ballroom attests to the fact that there were just too darned many folks there

Outside wasn't too bad, though the queens had to share space with the sunbathers

But inside?  Well, suffice to say that the Court of San Anonio took up considerable real estate on the dais.

Still, moi managed to snap the winner of the Drag Races, the current Empress and a sundry couple, including SOME PRINCE DUDE

Moi saved the best for last - moi was complimented by the Queen Mother of the Americas, the Empress Nicole the Great, on how nice moi looked; the rest of the evening passed, as it were, in a daze.

At some point in the evening, someone opined as to how it would be a good idea to POSE all the representatives from California in a group picture.  After much running around, so it came to pass, with the Queen Mother as the centerpiece.  Moi is in the back looking gorgeous, of course.
