On a nondescript stretch of Holywood Boulevard, far from the glamor and glitz of the somewhat less nondescript stretches of Hollywood Boulevard, is a bar, Stone by name, that advertises itself as offering.....
Yes, as if Thai Town needed another cocktail bar. But yet, Tintin travelled there in support of a friend. Asia (the smallest of the three Asias moi knows - Asia Minor, moi might say) was raising funds to send her to a pageant in Hawaii, by putting on a show.
Asia affected shyness upon Tintin's first encounter with her, [perhaps because she is naturally shy - NAAAH! Moi believes she was merely building up anticipation. So, in the meantime, Tintin checked out the venue...
An interesting Stage....
... a poster whose name, if mispronounced would cause frat boys to giggle, choke and blow beer out their nostrils, as they dug each other in the ribs
Oh, and since this was a Filipina event - FOOD! and lots of it.
Meanwhile, behind the scenes, in the dressing room-come-stockroom, preparations were being made

Back at the front of the house, people ate and people showed up, and then ate

Time passed, and an announcement was made of the imminent start of the proceeedings - an hour and a half later than scheduled
Oh well, that gives us plenty of time to POSE
