					As part of the process of selecting a new Empress, the applicants for the position have to demonstrate their prowess in the gentle art of lip-synching, emoting and miming like heck and providing a show for the asssembled royalty. If there is more than one applicant, it becomes a competition for the post. In this case, Jennifer was the sole applicant (as moi may have implied, moi was approached but demurred, the better to serve moi's viewing public). One applicant or not, the show must, however, go on. So here is Jennifer's performance. Imagine if you will, the soundtrack (Shirley Bassey comes to moi's mind). .
				And, as befits an Empress-to-be, in the end Jennifer leaves the stage, as if heading back to the Photopage List (hint! hint!) .
