Erika's Annex Page 483 - Pre-Hallowpalooza

No! The image to the right is not moi, on a bad makeup day. The nerve to suggest such a thing. This is getting to be a recurring thing (see previous page, for example). Instead, it is Tintin's way of signalling the impending bacchanalia that is Hallowe'en which, since it falls this year on a Tuesday, has spawned a plethora of pre-Hallowe'en, post-Hallowe'en and ersatz Hallowe'en celebrations. No, moi doesn't exactly know what "ersatz" means either, but moi likes saying it. This event, to which moi sent Tintin, was at the Maynila restaurant in Carson and featured costumes, prizes and (horror of horrors!!) karaoke. Be warned.

In the spirit of the season, Tintin (left) had elected to reproduce the look of his fictional counterpart in the classic "The Black Island" (see right), and to belnd in with the revellers at the event

As soon as he arrived, Tintin had a hunch that the evening would be interesting

Certainly, the cuisine promised to be unusual and inventive

Although the housekeeping might be said to leave something to be desired

Let us just pray that Angel can pull the evening off

Well, the Grim Reaper (the Reaper in sneakers) seemed to get into the mood of things

And the waitstaff were going with the flow

And Tintin seemed to be enjoying himself ....

....BUTT - where were the Tgirls???

FINALLY!!! Moi's friend Tuesday arrived, with her friend Erika

And finally put to rest those pesky rumors that Tintin and moi are one and the same person. If moi can show you a Tintin and an Erika in the same shot, then you have to believe that they are separate and distinct, no? (Thank you, Photoshop)
