Looking for Life After The Lodge
The word is official. The Lodge will
close its doors for good on
September 16, 2006. And so the
hunt begins for the next tranny spot
in LA. But until then, let us enjoy
the marginal pleasures of Club L -
where the restrooms are wack, the
patio non-existent and air
conditioning a thing of the past.
Ah, moi can feel the fond memories
growing already. Apart from the
patio issue, moi recalls that the
Queen Mary was similarly poorly
served in the amenities.

So here is moi, laughing on the outside,
scheming and planning on the inside
Not enough of moi? Why, flattery will get you a considerable distance!
So who is hanging around for the wake, moi asks?
Oh, the usual suspects. Round them up
The Viet crowd was there, including (left to right) Stephanie, Sabrina,
Kimberly and Chao (OK Chao is not a USUAL suspect)
While the Filipina horde included (above) Lexi and
Carla and (below) Jen and Jerri and Bianca

Of course, there were
new faces, like
Stephanie (yes,
another Stephanie)

And a very special

Meanwhile, it was business as usual. The jint was rocking, so much so that there
were Tranny jams, both off and on the dance floor

And yet, and yet, looming over
everything was the knowledge
that The Lodge would soon be...
As moi left for the
evening, moi
encountered the
tableau to the left,- a
sad remembrance and
an indication that the
party would soon be
over at Club L -
SIGH!!
