Erika's Annex Page 434 - Pride Parade

Everyone loves a parade and gay people are no different in this regard. So Tintin set off this weekend to catch the Long Beach Pride parade on Ocean Boulevard in (not surprisingly) Long Beach. Moi was laid up with a case of the lazies so moi's companion Tintin had to go by himself on a day that started grey and overcast, and basically stayed that way. But that did not stay him from his appointed task.

So what were the features and special attractions of this parade?

Well there were lots of rainbow flags, some held a little unconventionally

There was a TV announcer (no, really, he was on TELEVISION)

And the Mayor showed up, along with lots of politicians

And the organizers were there. Then its got REALLY interesting

Gay cowboys!

Gay Californian cowboys!!

Floats varied in theme

Of course there was a gay marching band

and the police department and fire department were there in force, with all the latest equipment

But what, you enquire, about Tgirls?

And, as the last group in the parade, it falls to our Latina cousins to provide the last picture of the day
