Once again, substance trumps style, as moi begins moi's chronicle of the Queen of the Universe Pageant 2005 with the action in the audience, rather than on stage. Eccentric? Perhaps, but lovably eccentric, moi thinks - don't you? The venue this year was the Wyndham Hotel in Commerce, right next to the Citadel Outlet Mall, so moi could have, if moi chose to, combined a pageant with a shopping trip. Did moi? Moi did not. FOCUS!!

A survey of the room revealed a host of friends, both old and new

....as well as two TWG's (Danielle Foxx and Rhonda)

Plenty of buddies arrived
