Erika's Annex Page 333- Erika Does Sandy

Who is Sandy, moi hears you inquire. Not who, but what. Sandy is moi's affectionate diminutive name for the metropolis know as San Diego. Moi had often expressed a yen to sample the delights of the nation's eleventh largest city, so when moi noticed a club being held every Friday night, moi put the question to Monique, who had been expressing her own yen to "get out of LA" and, with Monique's friend Mimi in tow, we were on our way. As it turned out, said club - "Booty Call" had unexpectedly cancelled its regular Friday night activity so oh well - adapt, adopt, improve.

The supposed club was supposed to be held at LIPS, which is Sandy's answer to AsiaSF in Frannie (another diminuitive - you figure it out), which offers dining and a drag show most nights. Booty Call was SUPPOSED to start after the regular shows ended. SUPPOSED, moi says, cos it didn't.

Oh well, enjoy the show, moi thought

Next up was the SRO Lounge (moi guesses it is short for Standing Room Only, but, if so, it was misnamed because seats were not at a premium this evening - in other words, it wasn't crowded)

However, it DID have a pool table, and moi envisaged the potential photographic opportunities immediately
