Erika's Annex Page 252 - An Incident at Asia SF
Well, as moi mentioned in the
previous page, moi finally made
moi's debut at AsiaSF, after much
prodding by Tintin. Little did moi
know that the evening would be
fraught with incident - alarms and
excursions - but so it transpired.
But first of course, moi had to feast
on the food, the drink and the exotic
decor, to say nothing of the
waitpeople (or is it waitTgirls?)
Pretty soon Monique
and moi were seated,
waiting for the food to
arrive and the show to
begin
But first, there is time
for schmoozing, with
umm from the
waitstaff, who had
Roxie'd it up for her
selection from
"Chicago"
Then it was time for moi to say Hi to moi's friend (and last year's Miss Transglobe) Vi and her
friend ummm
Meanwhile, the new
Miss Transglobe 2004
(and part time
waitress/performer at
AsiaSF) was more than
willing to pose with
tonight's Some Dude
When Monique announced that she had pictures from the previous evening's pageant, Tgirls crowded
round. In particular, in a case of ironic foreshadowing, one Tgirl in particular was at our table, and
would return forthwith
So, now to the incident.
The incident involved
these boots
and their lack of
traction on the edge of
this bar
when worn by this
Tgirl in the middle of
her energetic routine
and her falling off the stage into the
middle of our table almost, being
saved at the last minute by the plucky
Monique
Now, perhaps it's just moi, but moi thinks that stiletto heel boots, energetic dancing and a runway
five feet above the ground are not compatible entities, but then again, perhaps it's just moi
Well, after this excitement (BTW she got right back up on stage and finished her routine, brave girl),
Monique and moi went outside for a breather. And who should we find but....
A Fallen Tgirl
We both immediately checked to see if she was OK, which she was but
moi enjoyed checking all the same
After our exciting evening, we
said au revoir to AsiaSF. Then
moi thought it would be nice to
end the evening with a nice bit
of ersatz Americana
How retro!!! How
totally Fifties!!!
